Self-taught artist Hamadi Ben Saad, has developed in the past forty years an artistic practice in resonance with the urban world and its surroundings. Detached from all conventions, his art is subordinated to the physical properties of the material: cardboard, kraft paper, wrapping paper, advertising posters, fabric waste, etc. All concrete elements that the artist manipulates to create monumental works. These are composed according to surface, texture and rhythm criteria. Difficult not to detect there reminiscences of Arte Povera and New Realism.
