Maha Malluh wins the 2025 National Cultural Award for Visual Arts 

 

Selma Feriani Gallery is proud to announce that artist Maha Malluh has been awarded the National Cultural Award for Visual Arts as part of the fifth edition of the National Cultural Awards Initiative, held in Riyadh under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 

The awards ceremony took place at the King Fahad Cultural Center in the presence of senior officials, cultural leaders, writers, artists, and media representatives. Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan honored the winners, emphasizing that the initiative reflects the values of gratitude and appreciation in Saudi culture and reaffirms the Ministry’s commitment to supporting creativity across all cultural fields.

 

On receiving the award, Maha Malluh expressed:

 

تحية الى وطني الغالي… وكم زادني فخر واعتزاز حصولي على جائزة الفنون البصرية لهذا العام. إن هذه الثقة الغالية تمثل لي حافزًا عظيمًا لمواصلة" العطاء والإبداع. أسأل الله أن يوفقني لأكون عند حسن الظن، وأن أساهم من خلال فني في خدمة وطني وإبراز صورته الحضارية المشرقة."
Translation
“Greetings to my beloved homeland. I am deeply proud and honored to have received this year’s Visual Arts Award. This precious trust is a great motivation for me to continue giving and creating. I pray to God to grant me success in living up to this confidence, and to enable me, through my art, to serve my country and highlight its radiant cultural image.”

 

In this fifth edition, the National Cultural Awards Initiative celebrates individuals, groups, and institutions whose creativity enriches Saudi cultural life and advances the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
