In partnership with MOCO Montpellier Contemporain, the Site archéologique Lattara, Musée Henri Prades hosts a new solo exhibition by Sara Ouhaddou titlted ‘’S’absenter quelques siècles, et revenir’’ borrowed from Du côté de chez Swann, the first volume of À la recherche du temps perdu by Marcel Proust.
Engaging with archaeological objects from the ancient northwestern Mediterranean, the artist overlays another geography, one shaped by the Arab world, North African Mediterranean histories, and enduring exchanges between both shores. Through subtle displacements and material echoes, her work opens a space where temporalities and narratives intersect.
