The group exhibition Par-delà les Mille et Une Nuits. Histoires des orientalismes opned March 25th 2026 tonight at Louvre-Lens With nearly 300 masterpieces on display, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through time, revealing the history of Orientalism across the long arc of time, offering insight into its evolution and forms within art and society. From the Alhambra to Egypt, it unfolds as a journey between two worlds, where artists, objects, and imaginaries meet. It explores the multiple lives of artworks and their creation, journeys, and reinterpretations, while examining how narratives are constructed and reshaped over generations. Along side these historical works picese  of contemporary artists such as Zineb Sedira, Sara Ouhaddou, and Nicène Kossentini, these stories gain new resonance, connecting past and present in a meaningful dialogue. these stories gain new resonance, connecting past and present in a meaningful dialogue.
